When I drive, I think. This morning while I was thinking of the goodbyes I have made to the people I may never see again, I saw a livestock carrier. I immediately felt for these poor animals, not even knowing what kind. I sped up to see numerous pigs packed into many levels and one small pig, his nose stuck in one of the holes. I lost it. People, myself included, distance themselves to the horrors of factory farming. I have been supporting this process yet I can’t stand the sight of it. I can’t be a hypocrite any longer. These are tears I never want to forget.
